Dear, Students, Staffs, Parents, Alumni and Well-Wishers, I feel myself proud and privileged when availing the opportunity of communicating through the website of the college as the principal. It has aimed to make one graduate from each hamlet. Now a days it has Arts, Commerce and Science disciplines. As it is a tribal area the college has also aimed to bring the tribal students into the main streams of higher education. The students of the college came from hilly and tribal areas of the district . The students are pursuing the education in this college and it is the single Nodal college in the Kaptipada sub-division of Mayurbhanj district. Many students have succeeded in qualifying competitive examinations like OPSC, OSSSC, ASO, SET, NET, JAM, NEET and others. The college has maintained the quality of higher education. Many faculty members have achieved a great success in academic and research area. The college has the facilities of sports, library, laboratories, hostels, NSS, NCC, YRC etc. for the tribal and other students. It is a great matter of pride for the college that it provides opportunities of higher education to the students for their social and economical development. The student of this college are availing various scholarship provided by the state government and central government. College also provides internet service and free Wi-Fi facilities to the students. The Central Library of the College has rich treasure of books and reference books and provides reading room facilities for the students and teacher also. It is a matter of the fact that the faculty members of the college are always engaged in conducting remedial coaching classes for slow learners, advanced leaners and competitive examination classes. We are looking forward the grand success of our efforts. Today it is inevitable to progress in the direction and in alignment with the concepts of “National Education Policy (NEP2020)”. This is a student centric policy, in which students are given a lot of flexibility in choosing the subjects of their choice such that the emphasis encompasses Indian Education system, vernacular education and multidisciplinary education. There is a possibility of a remarkable change in the present education system of the country. The mission to promote and propagate NEP 2020 is the key responsibility of the faculty and students of this college. I am happy to acknowledge that this campus with enhanced facilities and in campus hostel will support the academic and all round development of students as it promises a good ecosystem of teaching-learning among students and staffs.
